Microsoft Rewards point requirement increase eventhough I'm still Level 2.

    Hello,

I just tried to claim a $5 xbox gift card through Microsoft Rewards, but the requirement suddenly went up from 3700 points to 4800 points. I specifically bought a game to put me over the 3700 point threshold today, and after I bought it, the requirement
went up to 4800. I'm still Level 2, nothing has changed, just that I spent money. Can this be fixed?

Also, I couldn't access my VIP gems and don't know if I have anything in there to claim, eventhough it was before the deadline of it closing. Thanks.

    :)

For help with the Microsoft Rewards program, you'll need to contact their customer support via their redemption page.

Since the Xbox Rewards program runs on on the UTC time zone, it's already the 16th so the deadline to redeem gems is already over.

    Hello,

This forum is for Xbox Live Rewards issues. The Microsoft Rewards program is a separate program, so we are not fully informed on their issues. You should try contacting their support team via the Microsoft Rewards website. As mentioned, the program is in
the UTC time zone, so you are no longer able to access Xbox Live Rewards.

    About Microsoft Rewards status levels
    Applies to: Microsoft account

    • Microsoft Rewards has two status tiers: Level 1 and Level 2. Earn and keep Level 2 status by reaching 500 Microsoft Rewards points each month - no matter how you earn points, they all count toward your status.

    • Level 2 members can earn five times more points on Bing.com, save up to 10% on rewards from Microsoft products and services, and get access to exclusive offers. Remember to check your Rewards
      page
      for current offers.

    At risk level being lowered

I believe you are confusing the Microsoft Bing Rewards Program and the Xbox Live Rewards Program. The Microsoft Bing Rewards program requires you to have "500 points" per month to maintain level 2. You will have to direct inquiries to their customer service
team as the Xbox Live Rewards Program (here) does not work with that reward program.
