Microsoft Rewards on Xbox service unavailable

Hi Da D, my name is Rodrigo. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

I am sorry to hear that.

Please, try power cycling the console.

To do it, follow these steps:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Let me know if it works!

    Rewards App not working

On XBOX Series X the Microsoft Rewards app hangs and when it does open minutes later, and you click on the weekly it gives an "oops, looks like something went wrong service unavailable" error with only an exit

Microsoft Rewards on xbox not opening

I, too, have the same issue. Microsoft Rewards app hanging on the start-up splash screen. Then error message "Oops, looks like something went wrong" Service Unavailable. Tried two separate xbox. One X and Series X. One enrolled for insiders. One not. Both have the same error.

    Xbox Live 12-month

    Hello TyMiles21

    Welcome!

Xbox Live Subscription for 12-months occasionally becomes an unavailable offering in the Microsoft Rewards Program especially if you have redeemed it before. Other offerings also become unavailable after redeeming or redeeming a set amount.

Xbox Live Subscription for 12-months should come back at some point but I do not have that information, especially since it can be different on per an account basis. It could be a rewards window (or for accounts that have already redeemed it before) can
be the reason why it's not showing or shows unavailable.

You can contact Microsoft Rewards Program directly with this link

    Microsoft Rewards Program Support Form

You can contact them about this issue or you can wait about a week and the subscription for the 12-months may be back up.

    Best Regards
