I can't give points to someone in my family. There is no Give Points button and there's no Ask for Points button, why?

As confirmed above, the Share points feature was removed at the beginning of June....though there seems to be a lot of confusion around why it was removed and if/when it may return.

Whilst the above (abuse of accounts) may indeed be the reason, I have also seen screenshots of that page saying "maintenance"..then again I have also seen a screenshot of a Rewards support person replying to a ticket basically saying they don't know anything about it save that it has been removed.

Can confirm.

Their reasoning is that people were abusing multiple accounts to get tens of thousands of points per day, then pooling them all together to buy expensive hardware for essentially free.

I don’t see how this really changes anything because they can still buy gift cards en mass through each different account…

It said that community giving was in maintenance for better improvements or features.
