    Thanks for replying and keeping us updated on the issue. Sorry to hear that it is taking some time for them to get back to you concerning your Microsoft Rewards. Sadly, if you're including your phone number in the emails, they may not be able to contact
    you that way via callback. Your best bet is to access https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/ while logged into your Microsoft account and type in "Talk to a Person" in
    the Virtual Agent chat window to get a representative to call you back as previously mentioned by our Ambassadors. Once they do call you, give them the reference number for your case and request an update on it.

    In relation to changing the email address associated with your account and used for log in (your alias), that is not something that our Support Team has the capability to do; however, you may do so when logged into your Microsoft Account. For guidance on
    how to do so, refer to our support article entitled How to change the email address associated with your Microsoft account
    which will take you step by step to do so.

    I hope that this helps out a bit more and we'd love for you to keep us updated as well.

    Can you tell me what options to choose to get the rewards department when I used your link above? When I've tried to do it, there is no option to talk to rewards support only submit a ticket which I've done I don't know how many times and have explained
    my situation until I want to go postal on them.

    When I use the link you provided I can eventually get to a menu where I can choose Microsoft Rewards but then it directs me to the Rewards support site which is just a fillable form that they don't seem to be capable of reading and comprehending. What option
    should I choose to reach someone in the rewards department by chat or phone?

    When I try to add the other email account, I cannot as it says this:

    You can't add a work or school email address as an alias to a personal Microsoft account. Please try another.

    I can't make my mobile primary so I can uncheck the hotmail account as my primary. No matter which way I turn the walls just keep cropping up to stop me.

    I am so done.

    Very sad. They must have changed protocol after they absorbed Xbox Live Rewards. Back in the day, the support I talked with was able to help me unsuspend my account. It was a side conversation while they were helping me troubleshoot the credit card problem.
    Have hope, even if they can't help you, one day it could spontaneously reactivate. I've had that happen too lol.

    Just reply back to this after you hear back from support, or if you end up crumbling in despair. It's nice to tidy up the narrative for posterity.

    Hi Amber,

    Thank you, I have tried everything humanly possible to not hate the rewards department and they make it impossible. I reply multiple times a day to the ticket asking for updates and resolution and as I say Friday will be a week since I logged the original
    ticket and I am no closer to a resolution than I would be if I had just not logged a ticket. I could not be further frustrated with Microsoft right now. I have given them my cell number in my replies to the ticket asking that they reach out to me so we can
    resolve the ticket immediately and yet no they don't seem to be able to resolve the ticket without a phone call and they don't seem to be able to pick up the phone and call me to get it resolved. I'm ready to just pull the plug and move on. Life is too short.
    Microsoft seems to have a habit of implementing all these "niceties" that don't work and that they don't support. The concept of the rewards program is great but if you can't fix it and it doesn't work then why even introduce it. It just frustrates your
    customers. If my grandson didn't use the Xbox when he's here I would pull the Microsoft plug completely.
