Microsoft Rewards - Account suspension

Can someone at Microsoft Rewards please fix my account? I have tried to email the Microsoft Rewards team too many times over the past few months for various issues and I'm sorry to say but the email system which you use, which mind you is the only way to
contact Microsoft Rewards, is USELESS. It takes days sometimes to receive responses and then the person responding doesn't appear to be capable of reading and comprehending a simple email message which lays out what is wrong or is simply copying and pasting
a canned response from a list of canned responses. It is constantly a back and forth of we're looking in to it when there really is nothing to look in to. Fix your issues and the issues will go away. When people spell out in plain ENGLISH exactly what is
wrong with their account and you still can't fix it you probably need to hire new help or offer other solutions besides email where customers could pound the idea into your heads over the phone. Here is my issue, plain and simple. Can someone help please
as I am at the end of my rope with Microsoft and Microsoft Rewards?

Rewards recently implemented a community/family sharing feature which I utilized and added an account that my grandson uses so we could share rewards. As a result of that, Microsoft suspended my main account, this account, which is tied to my XBOX account
which I have a PAID XBOX Live subscription for. It seems really insane to me that you would introduce a new community/family sharing feature and then suspend peoples accounts for taking advantage of it. REALLY MICROSOFT?

I have since unlinked the account that my grandson uses in hopes that Microsoft can actually pay attention and unsuspend this account which is as I stated above attached to the XBOX Live account that I pay money for.

Again, all I need you to do is unsuspend this account otherwise perhaps I should just cancel my XBOX LIVE SUBSCRIPTION and go buy a PS4 as I'm sure their customer service cannot be as bad as yours.

I just want this resolved...it has been almost a week now of no responses, canned responses and no fixes.

my Microsoft rewards account has been suspended for an unknown amount of time. When Xbox rewards transfers to Microsoft rewards, will there be a way to end the suspension? I cant even recall why my account was suspended in the first place

I am assuming that your Xbox Live account is suspended (correct me if I'm wrong) because you are posting here and refering to a Gold membership. This is an Xbox Enforcement issue and may be totally unrelated to rewards. For information on a suspension for

No I am posting here because like with all Microsoft stuff there is no indication after 5 minutes of clicking through menus to try to find an appropriate forum to post this to anything that relates to rewards and as stated the rewards email contact system
is worthless. As far as I know, my xbox account is functioning just fine however the rewards account that was attached to it which I was trying to use to buy cards to use in games is suspended because of a feature that Microsoft implemented and then apparently
penalized me for taking advantage of.

 

You stated in your initial post that your account was suspended. Do you have an
enforcement action on your account? If you do not, have you contacted
Xbox Live Support directly to find out why the account was suspended? It could be for a matter completely unrelated to Rewards.

 

As I stated in my previous reply as far as I know my Xbox Live account is working fine it is just the rewards account that has been suspended but I am at a loss after 5 minutes of scanning through community drop down options of where to post thus finally
gave up and posted here. All I want is someone at Microsoft to pay attention is that too much to ask.

 

I get your frustration, but "as far as I know" does not mean "I know". When you sign into the Enforcement site with your Microsoft account and see either an orange hammer icon or "you've got a perfect record", then you know. When you speak with an Xbox
Live Support agent (either via online chat or scheduling a free callback) and they tell you your account has been suspended due to something, then you know. Anything else is guesswork, which leads to speculation and increased frustration. Knowledge is power
in this case.

 

As I suspected, that is not the problem but thank you for showing me where to check.

That is good to hear. Now the next step would be contacting Xbox Live Support to see if your account is indeed suspended (or what components are), when that suspension was applied and for what reason.

The family sharing is a program is designed for people to be able to gift points to each other. It's possible the rewards account was suspended due to suspicious behavior. EG. an account was created from the same computer that another rewards account is used
on, then one of the accounts starts sending points to other one. Which would easily constitute abusing the system. Since we obviously don't know all the details of the specific situation, the best option is to contact the Rewards team. In my experience I've
received a response the same day on the two issues I've ran into.

 

If I click my icon, it shows rewards with 1622 points which is the amount on the account I linked for my grandson...If I click on rewards (1622 points) I get the error below...who can help with this?

OK, did you read the three linked pages, notably the last one, which explains why accounts might be suspended?

Incidentally, you may want to remove one of the images since it has PII (personally identifiable information).

 

Then you are a lucky one because I have been nothing but waiting every single time I contact them and unless I'm wrong the only option is email which is a complete and utter joke. I'm ready to just give up. This is the most ridiculous division of Microsoft.
I didn't think Microsoft could get any worse but they have proved me wrong.

 

I've tried chatting with Xbox Live support because they offer a chat option and have always been helpful and they just refer me to the email option for the rewards department which as I've stated is a joke.
