Microsoft repair center in S. TX kept the hard drive, son upset

Sent the Xbox 1 off for repair, my 13 year old did not tell me about the drive left in the unit

Got the unit back, the same one. they did not find the issues. however his hard drive is missing and his video life profile

now what? He is upset. Chat with Xbox cust support " they should return it" no promises - that sucks

Laredo, Texas Repair Center

Does anyone know or have information regarding the Xbox Repair center in Laredo, TX the one that is a few miles from the Mexican Border. Just sent my console there to be repaired for a broken disc drive.

I have one problem what happens if i send my xbox one s to microsoft visitor center because i have sent my xbox one s to the microsoft visitor center will they repair my xbox one s cause its over there now in microsoft visitor center what should i do

You don't really need the hard drive. Anything that was purchased is attached to the account and can be redownloaded. As long as he was online when playing, his game saves were saved to the cloud. So once he starts a game, the game should sync up with his
cloud saves.

Well if it was an external hdd that was sent to microsoft with the xbox that was getting repaired they do say not to send any accessories for this reason. As it could get lost.

Thanks for your time , it as disappointing that they did not confirm the over 10 minute startup, problems with disc eject and other issues. Other issues like the unfixable Moderate NAT type may be our internet etc . simply put, he paid 69 bucks for the
hard drive and I don't blame him for his dissapointment

Reconnect each accessory. Turn on the console (with the hard drive still out).

If the problem persists with the hard drive removed, you will have to get the console repaired. Request a repair.

If there is no red light around the power button, reattach your hard drive.

If the problem persists only with the hard drive attached, order a new Xbox 360 Hard Drive from our Xbox Online Service Center (sign in with your Microsoft account). Console registration is required to replace a hard drive under warranty.

Nope. Also had to send in my xbox one x to the repair center get it hard reset because i kept getting E105 and E102 error codes.

This particular error code started the day i got it back from repair
