    Microsoft refusing refunds for purchases we did not make!!


    Help! I am at the end of my tether! Microsoft will not issue me anymore refunds because I have apparently reached my limit! However, and this happens often, when my son purchases V Bucks from the xbox, I get that purchase confirmed and then other purchases follow that we did not make! So on Friday I bought him a package for 9.99 and after that 2 more for 6.49 each. I am furious and cannot afford to throw money away like this, he gets things as a treat. Also, in the past, when I have received refunds they have then taken away VBucks that he never even got, I paid for them unwillingly, got a refund and vbucks are removed that he didn't even get despite the purchase going through. This is a mess and no one will help me. It's theft. We'll have to totally abandon these games - not something that would upset ME to be honest

    He got the 1500 VBucks for the genuine 9.99 purchase but he did NOT even receive the extra 1000 x 2 Vbucks for the unauthorised purchases!!

    Just to add following an unhelpful reply: we have 2 xbox consoles in this house and have been using microsoft for well over 10 years to make purchases. This issue is very recent. Our live gold payments go through successfully, no issues, I have changed payment methods but this still continues. Authorisation was NOT made for the 2 purchases after I bought the one we wanted.

    I am asking Paypal now to help. I can lose the money and not lose any sleep, it's the principle and it's happened before, it all adds up! One time there was a huge amount and Microsoft couldn't refund it all quick enough!

    Yes, I did make these purchases with Microsoft.

    I have looked in my purchase history and there is one purchase of vbucks, and then 5 other refunds of it. I didn't make these 5 refunds.

    Hello when you said Microsoft refuses to refund go more into detail please. Did they give you a reason why they would not honor the refund? Was there any steps that you need to take? Did you speak with a representative over the phone? Does the item show
    up in your Microsoft account as a purchase? I dont see why you wouldn't get a refund for a product you didn't receive??

    I have been told to reply to a confirmation email that states my request for a refund has been denied because no one on the phone can help with refunds. I have not received this email. Only the email stating my refund request has been processed. Nothing more in my spam folders either so I am not sure what more to do other than report the charge.
