    Today I saw that there was a purchase on my account. Black Ops Digital Download. I did not make this purchase. All I can think of is that my account was hacked. I did not like the Beta. I am continuing to play WWII. But Microsoft is no help with
    this. My only hope is that Paypal will stop this transaction. My last resort is my bank. I have since changed all my passwords. The time stamp of the transaction was while I was playing WWII this weekend. Anyone else have trouble with this JOKE of a policy?

    I contacted Xbox today about a game I have been having trouble with for a year already and after updating the game and my Xbox one the game still freezes, and now my 10 year old nephew is still in tears thanks to Xbox not helping me with my issue on getting
    my game Lego Hobbit refunded to my account, and its pretty sad they kept using the same excuse you purchased it a year ago so we won't refund you with no receipt, hello dummies my Microsoft account is my receipt especially since it was a digital download from
    the system. I demand my refund or the better business Bureau will be contacted on how corrupt Microsoft and Xbox are.

    yep - support is a joke....unauthorized charge on my account and they won't refund...wow.....terrible c/s...cannot get English speaking rep when we call - it's not the rep's fault - MIcrosoft needs to own it.... Nintendo sounding good about now

    with Microsoft
    regarding this issue? It may be far easier than trying to complete a form.

    try filling out this webform and they will provide you with any options available.

    If you believe that your account has been accessed by an unauthorised 3rd party you can contact support and request an unauthorised access case and investigation to be carried out on your account. As you say the time stamp shows the purchased happened
    while you were logged into your account and playing actively the unauthorised purchase must have taken place on the webstore or app. If you check your login history from the security tab on
    account.microsoft.com you can see if your account was accessed from a new location at that time.

    You should be aware that during an unauthorised access case your account will be locked out for up to 7 days while they carry out the investigation.

    If after the investigation is complete and they find your account was accessed by a 3rd party they can refund you for the unauthorised purchase

  9. I have tried calling customer service for both Microsoft and Xbox and I do not get an option to speak with someone. It disconnects every time. Great customer support Microsoft!!!!!!!!

    Support no longer uses a direct phone number. You would have to go to Contact Us | Xbox Support to request a call back (say no thanks to the virtual assistant and if the option does not show you may have to change your topic)

    Support site
    and choose an option other than Billing. When prompted to speak to a virtual agent, decline the choice. After a couple of additional questions, you should get options to request a free callback or to speak with an online Microsoft agent (a

    You won't get a refund for an Unauthorized Purchase.

    For example, is someone buys a TV with your credit card from walmart. Then you go to walmart and say give me my money, they won't give you a "refund".

    You'll need to contact your bank to have them dispute the Unauthorized Purchase since you're stating that you didn't make it.

    That has to be handled VERY delicately, and it is not recommended unless you have rock-solid proof you didn't make the purchase (being logged on and doing something else doesn't count, I'm afraid). The

    Xbox Live Code of Conduct
    discusses inappropriate chargebacks, and a fraudulent request can cause your account to be banned.

    Alternatively, contact your card issuer/payment processor and ask them to advocate for you to find out what happened.

    You're making my point for me.

    An unauthorized purchase does not qualify for a refund.

    Just because the option is there doesn't change the issue. An UA purchase is fraud and no one refunds for fraud. That's why you contact your credit card company and have them dispute the charge.
