I recently upgraded from my Xbox One to the Xbox series X. Everything transferred over just fine but when I logged in to play minecraft with my friends, I was getting the error message that I cannot play multiplayer because my privacy settings aren't updated. I never once had this issue with my xbox one and all of my privacy settings are set to allow for what it needs on the xbox one. I went into the setttings of the Xbox X and those all show the same, that my privay and online safety settings are set to allow for multiplayer games, clubs and cross platform gaming. EVERYTHING in any tutorial video of how to fix it has been done. I have logged in online, saved and submitted the changes for my privaxcy and xbox X games. I have tried the same thing on mobile, it all shows that i can. I can connect and play ANY game online with my friends but Minecraft ever since i downloaded and transferred over my games. I have tried to uninstall and redownload Minecraft, that didnt work. I have tried a hard reset on the Xbox and that has not worked. I even logged my profile in on a friends Xbox One and i was able to connect to the realms instantly. Does anyone know what is causing this issue?

No, they ARE NOT completely unconnected. Microsoft themselves manage all realms plus regardless of platform. That's why it's called MICROSOFT REALMS PLUS

Kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services and locate your subscription. You should be able to cancel it from there.

If it's not visible from there kindly check all Microsoft accounts that you own.

Is this a Realm for Minecraft Java or Bedrock?

I ask because they are purchased through different platforms. Java Realms are purchased on the Minecraft website and Bedrock Realms (for Windows or Xbox) are purchased through the Microsoft/Xbox store.

Sorry to hear about that, however, it would be possible that you don't have gold on your Series X. If you play some games on your console, are they listed here: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/free-to-play? If so, you don't need gold to play these games online.

As long as you've configured your privacy settings and you have gold the error should suffice. The game would not be able to identify your gold so it will show you that you have an error with your privacy settings.

"You must "restart" the realm. In the main menu edit your realm, click on subscription tab, and click close realm. Then click Open Realm."
