Microsoft points transfer

To whom it may concern,

My name is Stephen Verner (Sp1derman006), I have accrued 7900 MSP's and I keep getting e-mails stating that I need to update my account. Well, I see that there was no problem with settling debts and all of my transactions are up to date. My question is,
what on earth is going on with this situation. I would really appreciate it if some one could straighten this issue out for me. I have done everything possible on my end and am at a serious impasse.

You can check her account at
https://billing.microsoft.com and it will show you all transactions that have taken place on her account for the past year. It will show you if the points were spent or if any expired (promotional points expire).

i was wondering if i can transfer my microsoft point or my membership to a different account

 

Have you bought anything off the marketplace in the last 18 months?

Microsoft points are no longer valid, they need to be converted to credits.

He didn`t mention the points were gained from rewards.

If they were, they would all have expired by now, as they only lasted 12 months on the old programme.

 

There was a rewards deposit on the 8th and a lot of people are still having issues getting rewards credits deposited so they are getting those emails. The OP is mistaken that they are points though.

 

Ah right, something similar happened a few months back, i got that email then.

It sorted itself out without me having to do anything, the issue was at their end.

 

I probably should not comment but, How are Points from the rewards program not MSP ???

I can understand the confusion/assumption.... about currancy and MSP.

I do have a question for 006 though, why not update the account?

Could a staff member not put this topic in the correct area?

 

When the points system was discontinued, the program changed to giving out credits. They don't have the same value as MSP did. 80 points was the same as $1.00. 1,000 credits is equal to $1.00.

 

So the issue is wording, Points and credits are synonims(spelling)

I can still understand owens and 006's confusion......

Why not move topic to the rewards area modderation? Why was the acccount not updated by the user???

Just sayn, I hope MR. 006 gets the issue resolved.

 

How does one decide this is a rewards issue? I thought at 5,000.00 credits they were auto deposited

How is it 7,500 were earned without deposit? MSP may have expired.... you now update and all.....

How did Sumwutches come to this decision? why not just send this to support?

 

From what I read in the OP, 006 "keeps getting e-mails", which means that he has accrued more than the minimum deposit amount of 5,000 credits at some point during that time. Of course, since the auto-deposit still occurs on specific days of the month, just
like with the MSP in the old program, it's possible that he accrued more than 5,000 credits prior to an attempted auto deposit. Of course, this all assumes that the issue with the OP is actually Rewards related. If it is, he should post here: forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx
