    got a 1600 points gift card and tried to redeem it twice now,once on my xbox once on my pc/account here.

    both times says error.

    im entering the code correctly,and getting irked.

    whats the deal?

    and why is it impossible to find this in the Help topics onsite?

    why did i have to go round n round n round till i finally Stumbled on the other page and tried Again to redeem the points..?

    and why does it keep trying to Make me download silverlight Just to talk to an ambassador??

    did it occur to microsoft that maybe we dont Want to download such things just because they Want us to??

    urgh,can someone actually Help me?

    Hi, I think no because the american's card aren't compatible with uk's account; and is impossible to pass MP between accounts

    How can you even say blah do you even know what the impossible mission is? And please keep the the impossible mission topics to a minimum. The forums are starting to get flooded with these topics.

    Did you buy the points card in a shop or online and did you get an error message when you tried to redeem like for exampl 8d3343.......

    i got it as a Gift,i assume he got it locally from cvs or store?

    i did manage to Screenshot the error message

    it says >>> oops something went wrong

    at the bottom theres this long line

    It looks like the error you're getting may be because the card wasn't properly activated at the retailer.

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-lookup     You'd have to try getting whoever purchased it for you to take it back and have it activated or you can try contacting support directly to see if there is anything they can do. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada

    My Microsoft account got stolen yesterday.

    As said in the topic, I already completed the point 1, it says the infos are not enough.
    Then, the 3rd point you said the link is not working.
    Also it's impossible to change the password on other accounts linked to my microsoft one, since i cannot access the email anymore.

    I thank you for your help but this is no way close to helping me solve this, It's embarassing i cannot talk with a real Microsoft staff when in need.
