Microsoft points not recived

hi I been told to post on here by Xbox support because I didn’t receive my Microsoft 2100 I typed it and it work all okay but never received the credit thankyou

hi my name is chris. earlier 2day i contacted xbox customer support concerning an offer i participated in many months ago from the xbox360 dashbooard . The offer was that if i had spent a total of over 2400 microsoft points in the month of october i would
recive 800 microsoft points back into my account. i am wrighting because i still havent received the points that were promised to me for this offer and the xbox customer support has told me that this is were i can have this problem resolved. it would be much
appreciated if you could get back to me as soon as possible

Hello are you referring to MS rewards points?

 

If you got an old gift card with 2100 Microsoft points on it, be aware that Microsoft changed to "real world currency" for their payment system in 2013. They gave a grace period to 2015 if I remember correctly to redeem old points cards, and they would be
converted to actual currency on your account.

It might be, that the card you tried to redeem won't work anymore.

In that case, the forum can't help you, as this is usually a "users help other users voluntarily" forum. You would have to contact the official support again at
Contact Us | Xbox Support

But be prepared that they might be unable to add funds to your account with an outdated gift card that is still in Microsoft Points.
