Microsoft points card trouble! Please help me..

So, my mother's boyfriend bought me a points card when she went to visit him in the US and she came back to Canada, I went to use it but we're not allowed to use points cards from the outside of Canada? And we couldn't return it and her boyfriend didn't
have a use for it, so I decided to gift the code to my European friend and he got the money on his account but it wont let him purchase anything with it. Though he has the money, it said so... and the card can't be used anymore? Is there a way he could use
it or will it just sit on his account forever?

I really need a quick answer to this.

I used my Microsoft rewards points and bought a 15$ Microsoft gift card and never recived a card or a recipt. Please help

Adding points

I am having trouble adding points to my account. Everytime i try to buy them it tells me to contact my supplier or to try another method?

I then added my Paypal account and still get the same comeback. I have used this card before with no problems, i have also tried microsoft billing but the website wont load?

Any help please?

Xbox gift cards are only meant to be used for the region they're made for. In order to use the card, your friend would have to change his account region to the US, but that is not recommended.

Thx collin for the link, it's seem it's working now so I will give it a try via support service. Smwutches, the card is for microsoft points and yea my account is set on the same area. And yesterday I had an issue with that. I couldnt see those drop down
menus. Modes, I tried that way too and it give me the same answer. That's when it does not give me an issue about not being able to recognise the computer. Onyx, no I didnt had that kind of message, just the one saying the code was invalid.

Are you getting an 8 digit error code when you enter the number on your console? If so, what is it?

Hey there Thaynima! If you haven't already, trying a replacement from the retailer would be a good and easy start. If that doesn't help, or they won't give a replacement, just let us know.

After that, I would want to verify that the region of the card matches the region of your account. Can you let us know if you purchased this from a local retailer and from what country, or if it was purchased online. Let us know and we can go from there, thanks!
