Microsoft Points, being ripped off and abused by Microsoft RANT

I have been a loyal subscriber to Xbox live for 8 years on this account and 1 before this account. And even when Microsoft charged for services like multiplayer when Sony didn't, I still payed. And when they forced you to have Xbox GOLD to use Netflix and
other services that I already payed for, I still payed. I even bought a 2nd Xbox 360 and the Xbox live family plan so I could play multiplayer with my family i payed again and again. I was lucky and got gifts of 4000 points and a few 1600 point cards. I redeemed
them when they sent me a Xbox live message that they would be converted to Microsoft Currency. Well because I didn't use them all within a year I just lost over 100$ in microsoft currency. I called customer support and they said I was not getting them back
and I should have used them.

1) Microsoft points NEVER had an expiration date

2)Microsoft Currency doesn't expire

Like I said this is a Rant. I have been [Mod Removed] and know I am never going to see this "Currency" again as per customer service. I just wanted people to know what to expect from a company who doesn't care about it's customers no matter
how much of your time and money you have given them.

There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else.

Why cant i connected to xbox live?

I'm tired of being ripped off by Microsoft. First it was the Rewards program messing me over with the points issue in August and now this. Where's the service I pay good money for?

i got episode 12 but then i had to pay 140 microsoft points when i already paid for the season.. Im left feeling as if im being ripped off more and more

 

I see that you say you added those points cards when you got a message saying they would be converted to currency. This suggests that you added the points after the retirement date.

msp promotion codes actually do expire, so just in case you enter a promo code the day before it expires, you extends ist lifetime by a full year. this may be a possible reason for the design Chosen.
