Microsoft, Please Fix & Strengthen Your Servers Already.

To start off, I will admit that I'm no expert when it comes to programming an tech stuff but, I will say that I am tired of all these server problems. I understand that it's the day after Christmas, and millions of new consoles are trying to connect to Xbox
Live but don't you think Microsoft should of prepared for this? I'm tired of getting disconnected from games sessions that I am playing with my friends and getting these stupid error codes that I have encountered ever since last year. Microsoft, were is this
money going that you get when we pay for our subscriptions and buy your products? Is any of it going towards the server budget? I mean the servers have improved since day one but as of right now they are really taking a beating. I just want to make a suggestion
to you Microsoft, before you spend anymore money on adding more features to the service, how about you use he money to increase the strength of your servers so this doesn't happen as much.

Ubi, PLEASE Fix Your Servers!

So far, I love what I've been able to play of the beta.

The problem is that I can barely play the beta due to the Ubi servers going down.

It seems like every time I try to play the beta I get an error message that says cannot connect to Ubi servers at this time.

I understand that it's a beta, but I also understand that Ubi knew approx. how many beta users there would be based on how many copies of Splinter Cell Conviction were sold as well as how many beta key codes were sent out. I also know that companies
like Ubi like to be stingy when it comes to server hosting.

So, come on Ubi, give us what we want. We can't give you beta feedback if we can't play the beta.

 

How about just letting us use say Netflix, or games offline, or amazon, or ANYTHING. Seems when any service is down I have a 500 brick that plays DVDs. Just let us connect to Netflix without going through your servers.

 

It wasn't hacked. It was DDoSed. Completely different. The problem is that too many people are trying to sign on at one time. The server can't handle it. But I agree that we should be able to do some things offline

 

@TeeroyGeee, Yeah, I know the story about the frigin no life's called Lizard Squad that messed up the servers, also they didn't hack the servers, they "D-DOSED" the servers, the two are completely different things. D-Dosing is when someone sends a hole bunch
of info to a server that eventually locks it up and causes it to shut down. Even if they story did cause this issue than how the hell were some low life kids in their mom's basement's able to do this to a big companies severs like Microsoft's? They need to
stop putting their money towards new features for now and work on strengthening their server's to prevent this in the future like i said.

 

You can play games in offline mode in the settings. You guys so addicted to multiplayer. The games that don't work offline is because the publishers wanted an online DRM check for single player like Far Cry 4, don't blame microsoft blame the publishers.

 

Those pesky developers, like the ones for Halo, Destiny, Farcry, AC, Dragon's Age, erm... wait, what do they all have in common? They developed using Microsoft's tools.

 

Once again, overcomplicated excuses for big business. Keep it simple......millions of consumers pay a multibillion dollar industry for products and service at premium prices. We receive mom-and-pop level quality. I'm just waiting for the government to
step in and give them money to help pay their executives some gross bonuses at this point for providing such a high level of service to their customers

 

I have been on Xbox Live for almost 10 years and in that time, I have not been able to get online once, and that was on Christmas day. Pretty good rack record, at least for me, and in my opinion. If you aren't happy with the service then stop paying for
it. It really is that simple. In this case, it's a case of "talking" with your wallet.
