Microsoft please fight back

If this is how things operate, then Xbox 360 theoretically won that console war upon release of Gears of War. But what happened when Uncharted was thrown into the mix? And The Last of Us? Hmmm.

I'm just saying, it only takes one game to send a console shooting off the shelves, and we have a few potentials lined up for the next few years.

Now who sounds in denial? I wasn't aware I could 'Super Mario' my way up a building in Call of Duty. You'll have to show me that.

 

TitanFall has some pretty impressive graphics. I could post my pc specs again, but it wouldn't matter. The bottom line is the game looks pretty amazing for the amount of action going on. It looks great on both platforms having played both and I think it
could be a game changer for the Xbox.

I have already clocked in over 25 hours on the pc / 20 on the Xbox. I mean it took me about two weeks to get that much playtime in Battlefield 4 when it launched on PC (that may have been because the game would constantly crash and not save my stats - that's
another story).

The game could be compared to COD, but it could also be compared to Tribes (prolly before your time), Warframe, and most recently Hawken. It's an excellent blend of those games with its own nice touch to boot.

Anyhow, just my opinion.

 

People assuming 720p means bad graphics are foolish. This is the first I've heard of it being 720p actually, and I think it looks great. Better than great, actually. The back-drop of Angel City looks downright beautiful.

 

Well I'm not going to say I'm giving Microsoft a pass with most of the multiplats running at 720 and now their baby also running at most 900. This is coming from a PC elitist jerk lol.

But I was impressed yes I was. And I'm so buying this on PC and X1 just so ya know =D.

Oh btw Lloyd I'll be getting The Order & Infamous, but only as rentals courtesy of Gamefly - I've learned my lesson not to buy single-player titles.

 

Titanfall is an excellent game but it is not a system seller I plan on getting the PC version as I believe with modding this could be truly great 3 million Xbox's sold in a few months is not to be sniffed at it's just the competition has blown them out the
water a bit of that is down to the price difference

 

How did the Mods let this harassment go on for so long? I am impressed how the community kept there emotions in check for the most part, and didn't stoop to the childish antics that were being presented to them.

With that said, I would like to respond to the couple of ignorant fanboys.

Games are meant to be fun, and it is early in both consoles lifespan. Games will become better on both consoles as Devs learn the architecture.

First-Sales numbers currently do not portray an accurate representation of how well consoles are being received because there is a wide disparity between how many countries each console is available in.

Second- 1080 does not make a great game. The Dev from infamous stated that there will be no DYnamic Shadowing in Infamous SS, and clearly stated there is trade offs to achieve the look that you want. The game being released does not resemble the E3 trailer.
The Order is releasing with cinematic bars. That was not stated at E3, so I am guessing this is something they had to add to achieve the look they wanted. Also, the Order currently does not resemble the E3 trailer. Remember, there is trade offs for both systems
right now.

With all that said, the look of the game is not going to be remembered if the gameplay is garbage. My personal preference is to have as much detail, AI, ,particle effect, lighting, and shading effects as possible over a higher resolution. I have NO problem
with DR3 being 720 because there is so many AI on screen at once, all different, with multiple cut points to each body. That is fun to me, and I dont think having less zombies, but a clearer resolution would make the game any more enjoyable.

In the end, most gamers can not tell the difference between the games currently. It is not like we are comparing HD to SD. They are both 1080, but one is upscaled. The only reason why people perceive such a big difference now is because of gaming sites taking
the games frame by frame to see differences, and even then it is close.

Last thing, both consoles offer a different experience. If you are a gamer who is all about the games, and more power and you cant afford a PC, get a PS4. The Xbox One is meant to be an all in one. It offers gaming, multimedia, a good MP experience. I personally
like I could control my whole living room through one box, with my voice. I dont particularly care what games look better, because if I did I would buy a PC.

GAMING IS MEANT TO BE FUN. Gamers should play games, not names.

I'm sorry to say this but xbox has not proven to me that it has the video capacity to wow me. I bought the xbox one because of Xbox's past brand excellence. After much consideration and comparative research I find that the xbox one is inferior graphically
period to playstation 4. I also have considered getting a ps4 and selling my xbox One solely based on this premise alone. Continuing to say that graphics don't matter is like a man buying a four cylinder muscle car. There is a visible difference between1080p
and lower resolutions. Why is the next gen console worse the the previous generation xbox 360 and can't render games comfortably in native 1080p? Microsoft can not explain this one away and why do we look for better results when they won't be honest about
this graphics nightmare.

 

I agree and MS should have realized to what level people are graphics-obsessed.

 

It's not about graphics. I got an X to play battlefield 4 32v32. Dead rising 3 with hundreds of zombies. Neither one would work on a 360. I love good graphics but I can Wait till halo 5 for then. Right now the x1 is about next-gen game play not graphics.
(Excluding ryse, it's OK but looks amazing)

@Mavr1k - Trust me...there are quite a few ppl like Loyd on the MS side of things. Ones who aggravate b/c they exaggerate and/or lie.

A couple are in the group you give credit to for not becoming childish during this whole fiasco.

 

The only winners are the gamers, Lyody you spend more time on here than you do on your ps4, If you dislike xbox one so much why even post ? very easy to bash the xbox one while on the other hand you sing all praise for the ps4.
