Microsoft Planning To Bring Deeper Xbox Live Support To Nintendo Switch and Mobile

So it seems that Microsoft are planning on expanding Xbox Live Support to platforms such as the Nintendo Switch and Mobile. I think there is already limited support for this, I think Minecraft on Switch lets you sign in to your XBL Account and earn Achievements.

It looks like at GDC 2019 next month that they will announce plans to expand on this though and go deeper with the integration.

It would be really cool to play games on Nintendo Switch and earn Achievements at the same time

What are others people thoughts, cool idea, or not something you would take advantage of??

"Xbox Live is about to get MUCH bigger," Microsoft's description reads. "Xbox Live is expanding from 400m gaming devices and a reach to over 68m active players to over 2bn devices with the
release of our new cross-platform XDK.

"Get a first look at the SDK to enable game developers to connect players between iOS, Android, and Switch in addition to Xbox and any game in the Microsoft Store on Windows PCs."

I wonder if you will have to have a paid subscription to use it on those other devices?

I think it's a great idea.

Anything that allows me to explore games across different platforms and keep achievements together is fantastic.

I would love to be able to access my Xbox Games on as many devices as possible so I have absolutely no objection to these expansions or service. X Cloud looks promising.
