Microsoft payments/fraud

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but my uncle today found out that his ex girlfriends son (he's 10) has spent £600 in the last 8 days on the Xbox using my uncles card.

The bank statement shows dozens of payments varying between £1.99 to £39.99

Is there anyway of getting a refund?...

As we aren't sure if it's the kid who's responsible yet(all we know is he was given the card details to spend £10 a week on his games) is there a way for any scammer/fraud person to benefit from spending that money through Microsoft and somehow getting it
as cash or is that impossible?

Or is there a way to contact Microsoft and finding out who exactly has been using the card? Or is that confidential information?

What he should do is contact his card issuer and state that they sre fraudulent activities and that he did not authorise the use of his card. They should be able to get the money back.

Sorry to hear about these charges made on your uncle card. Your uncle needs to first contact his card and let them know of the fraud. Next he can request a call back from Xbox support. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/.
Do your uncle knows the son account Xbox Live account information? He is going need that. He can view the order history this way but he is going need the email and password associate with the account.

Sign in to the Payment & billing page with your Microsoft account.

You need to contact MS about this. For any reason if they wont approve refund, you have to contact your cc company and issue fraud on your account. The ex girlfriends son might lose account behind it.
