Microsoft paying Youtube to show positive feedback videos first.

So Microsoft pays someone to promote the Xbox One and the world is up in arms? What's next? Global warming?

I'm not defending or condemning Microsoft, just sharing something interesting I found.

 

Here we go. Another thread just like that kinect one. This will go on for days. Mainly because someone, yes you know who you are, won't let it go. King of the Microsoft haters!

 

I really don't understand why this is big news on a lot of websites, unless they are trying to bring the fanboys in for the views then I understand.

 

This isn't even news. And I assume I'm going to be accused of getting paid just because of my Gamertag. Hey I'd be okay with that anyways.

Is anyone really surprised that they pay for marketing? You do a video about an upcoming release and get 1000 views, here's some money. You do a hate video and you don't get paid. Who are the people surprised by this?!

 

Machinima seems to be willing to take the fall on this one.

The part about them not being allowed to tell us they are being paid is super shady.

Those would be Xbox/MS haters. Its okay that Sony did this a few years ago, and even paid twitch to be ad free(except a PS4 ad) but MS is the devil when they do anything similar. #HatersgonnaHate

 

What Sony did a few years ago is not okay and nobody here has said that but you.

 

Nintendo needs to do this more than Microsoft.

 

Seriously anyone who thinks that this is a new phenomenon is pretty deluded. Companies have been doing since the beginning of the internet. And trust me, it will continue to happen long after we are all gone. And it's not just on the net. This happened in
magazines before that. No offence to anyone but if you believe anything anyone says without trying something and making your own opinions then you are a sheep! Never believe media! It is one of the most corrupt things ever. They are there to make money! Just
like the companies that use them!
