Microsoft paying Youtube to show positive feedback videos first.

Both of my Xbox One's are just fine. Thank you for your concern though.

I wonder how much of the 3 million was actual sales and not giveaways ? it's a good job that MS doesn't have a rep sitting in the white house isn't it ?

 

@ Sunburst... I have a hard time believing MS would do something illegal, and put their company in danger. Is the article trust worthy? I didn't read it cause I don't click on links.

@Wild... What MS does next I think will make or break a lot of people's loyalty. I admit they did some things different, and put out a product that was lacking features. As they say I don't think they would shoot the hand that feeds them. I think they are
listing to the community.

 

They only gave away around 1,000 consoles. Also, I work at Gamestop. I sell more Xbox One's than I do PS4's. Xbox One accessories and games sell more, too.

[/quote]I believe so...it's showing up ALL over the place. Even on the yahoo front page last night, not that yahoo is the most reputable news source. It would be no big deal for MS to pay a fine if it was illegal and MS has had many legal issues in the past.

 

@ Epic i'm sure you would praise the all singing and dancing One why not you got yours for free. Why would you say a bad word about Microsoft ? i'm in the uk and it's a different story here altogether Sony is out selling Microsoft. I asked the guy the
other day in Game if they would stock the Steam Boxes when they was launched. He said yes they have a deal in place so in the uk there going to be 4 consoles to choose from by the end of the year. Personally i hate pushy salesmen types that push any thing
down your throat.

 

Say nice things about our product , say nice things about our company, belittle fellow gamers that have negative views about our product and for your reward we will shower you with free gifts.

It is flame-bait, and here is how it is: The title of this thread totally misconstrues what is happening. Microsoft is not paying Youtube (Google) directly to show positive feedback videos first.....It is paying individual youtube users for making videos
that are positive or neutral about the xbox one. There is nothing in these articles about Google/Youtube being paid to broadcast these videos first, last, or in the middle......If you are going to title your thread, at least read the article being linked so
you can title appropriately.

 

I find it funny that whenever you say something not positive about MS or the xboxone the same troll posters show up like good little sheep.

Did anyone bother to read the article that USMC linked? In it a Youtuber says MS isnt the only company that does this. I am pretty sure Activision pays review sites each year to get COD high reviews. Otherwise how would they consistently be reviewed as great?
