Microsoft Passed on Rime for Xbox One

It was revealed that Phil Spencer turned down Rime when it was offered to MS
link. I know there is only a small trailer for the game but it seems like the type of game that there was a lack of on the 360 and so far on the Xbox One. Here is the trailer

Forza four ban????

So one of my friends just came into my party and was talking about two of his friends got account banned for having glitched rims on hondas such as the bmw rims. can they account ban them for this? The name was either massive drift or master drift the message
they sent to him was not clear, The message states that he claims to be a moderator is this true? please either turn 10 microsoft or any one that has answers thank you

Doesn't really bother me. Like he said, everyone passes on games. Some go on to be brilliant games. Not everyone can knock it out of the park every time.

 

I think it is the type of game I would really enjoy by the sounds of it. It's unfortunate but that's how the cookie crumbles. Read an article yesterday about the What's app co owner who went for a job at Facebook but was turned down. He later went on and
created What's app which Facebook acquired for 19 billion.

 

Why would you compare a app to a game. That is so dumb. But I understand what you are saying. But indie games say a lot but don't hold up to it some.

 

Also this might be a reason they passed on it they saw no money in it.

 

This was a couple years ago, and I am pretty sure there was no playable demo when they approched MS with it. Either way, companies pass on games all the time.

The game that is raising a lot of money from Kickstarter named Kingdom COme; Deliverance looks, and sounds like an awesome game. The only reason why it is on kickstarter is because he couldnt find any publishers for it. They told him it wont work, consoles
are dead, and they wanted him to turn it into a F2P game. He tried for a year before he went to kickster.

 

I am not comparing it to a game I am comparing it to an opportunity that was missed in which success came from it. Don't see what's dumb about that.

 

this is probably why they are starting to kick off the nimrods that have been making wrong decisions or have no experience to run a "gaming" division in the first place. I still think ole dumb@ss Don Mattrick had alot to do with telling them to make the
box cheaper with smaller ram and a small HDD to save on the profit margin like a PC since you make new models every year or two. Not so with a console, hopefully the people moving in will make better judgement calls and realize the power of exclusives and
welcoming the newer developers of Brand New IPs as a value...not a burden.
