    Microsoft Partner Developer Program help


    A quick question regarding the Microsoft Partner Developer program.

    My Xbox account is a North American account, but I recently moved to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia a few years ago.

    Would I be able to register for a Microsoft Developer Program using a Malaysian account (Malaysia is a supported country and region) and linking the partner account with my North American Xbox account?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I just checked the supported countries and the Microsoft Developer Program is supported in Malaysia. If I were to sign up for a Malaysian developer program, would I be able to link it with my North American Xbox account?

    To be honest, I'm not in the program so I don't know for sure. I'll suggest you read the terms of the program so you can be abreast with everything you need to know before you sign up.

    My follow up question is since my Microsoft account is North American (as is my Xbox account), if I were to apply for the Microsoft Developer Program and select country/region Malaysia (as it is listed) would I encounter any issues with regards to registering as a developer?
