good morning

I am new to gaming as i have just bought my son who is 9 a xbox one x for christmas, my question is how do you know when buying a game on microsoft store if it is a download or physical disc, as i would like to have the physical copy to fall back on

Log on with xbox account

Buy in store

Then it knows i bought so i can redownload if needed

By using the same Microsoft Account on your Xbox Device, it will automatically add any game you've bought on the Microsoft Store to your Xbox Account.

Microsoft Account signing to Xbox App on PC is the same access to everything you have on your Xbox One with the same Microsoft Account.

And everything that you bought thru' that store will always stay there, but only softcopy to download, no physical in this case.

If you really want to find physical one, you better find another merchant who sell one.
