    I contacted support on Monday, August 29, 2022 4:29 PM GMT about my account getting hacked [Case #:mod removed] but in the middle of use exchanging emails I emailed them that I resolved the issue because I had gotten into the account and changed back my security information and removed the hackers email off of the account. And I told them “i have the issue resolved you guys can back off now” I got the response of “Hi! Thank you for confirming your issue has been resolve. We will no close the case.” From Angeline Monique on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 12:18 AM GMT. So i thought that was the end of the ticket, but I got another email on Thursday, September 1, 2022 5:43 PM GMT that said,

    “Greetings,

    My name is Kia with Microsoft Customer Support. I appreciate your patience while I have performed an investigation of your account.

    Account security is a top priority at Microsoft, and we have a team dedicated to investigating and validating fraudulent activity. The account and billing activity associated with your Microsoft account was thoroughly reviewed by our fraud team, and I can confirm there was unauthorized access to your account. Unfortunately, during the investigation process, we found that your security information has been changed.

    Unfortunately, when security features are updated on an account, we are unable to assist with an account recovery as these types of updates and/or removal are completely out of control of customer service. We are unable to make any changes to the security information on the account due to security protocols set up and the acceptance of the Microsoft Services Agreement when the account was created.

    The only option we have is to permanently suspend this account to prevent any further use. At this time, I have successfully suspended this account, and this will remain on indefinitely.

    Thank you for your understanding and patience during the investigation of your account.

    But I thought the case was closed so I have no idea why she was still responding to that I’ve made multiple account review tickets since then with the most recent ticket being [mod removed] and still haven’t heard or received anything back I just want my account back especially because it’s connected to my Minecraft Java account which I can’t access with the account being locked. I’m currently posting this on my schools Microsoft account.

    The refund team only work normal business hours and due to the holidays it is likely they are out of office until after the new year period

    So three days ago my sister accidently used my account to buy a game she meant for her, we contacted Microsft as soon as she realized and requested a refund. We we're instantly emailed saying an xbox advocate had been assigned to our request and I should
    hear from them in 72 hours max.

    It's been three days and I've heard nothing, I've gotten no email about it and it truly is frustrating, how long does microsoft normally take to respond because this is a little crazy, my sister just wants her money back so she can buy the game at home.

    If you was using your school email as a contact email address please use a different contact email this time. (could be your mom, dad, or someone who you trust email)
