Microsoft not recognizing Gold Membership

So my xbox is currently allowing me to go on Netflix and such but when i want t go online for games it says i need to get gold. The thing is my gold does not expire until the 5th of December so there is no reason for this to be happening. When i go to Microsoft
and log in, it shows that i still have the membership so i have no idea what to do.

Not Recognizing Gold Membership?

I received an email confirmation on March 3rd that my Gold membership was renewed for my Xbox One. However, when I go to check the games with gold, it tells me that I need to get a gold membership to get the benefits. Is there a problem that is preventing
me from seeing these games or what do I need to do to access the games with gold and other discounts? I was able to download Rayman Legends the other day, but that was the last time I was able to get to the gold members section. Thank you for any help. God

From the looks of your forum account, you're Xbox Live Gold which is great! Sorry you're having issues getting in the Gold Members section. Please try to do the following and let us know if you can see it.

First, if you have your Xbox for quick start-up try to set it to "Energy Saving Mode" in the settings. Turn your Xbox off, then Turn your Xbox back on. The reboot will take longer.

Second if that doesn't work. With your Xbox Powered on, please hold down the power button for about 10 seconds. Your Xbox should turn off very quickly. Leave it off for a couple minutes, then turn it back on.

Third, if those solutions do not work, Unplug your Xbox from the wall for a few minutes. Plug is back in and test.

Fourth, If that doesn't work. follow this link to remove your account from the Xbox. Your games should be saved on the cloud so no worries there. After
you've removed your account download it again.

If all those steps do not work I would suggest
contacting support here.

 

Hi there. Did you try a hard reset? Holding the power button down on your xbox one console will clear the cache and hopefully it will be back to normal after turning on and signing in again. Let us know if this worked for you.

 

Sadly it did not work. I also have to add that this applies when i go to the store via web browser on my pc. It doesn't recognize my membership when looking at lets say gold deals or what not, but at the Microsoft site it states i have a subscription.

 

I suggest you contact Microsoft directly regarding this issue, they will be able to look into your account and see whats up with it. Phone or chat support is probably the quickest and easiest two options. Click the link under to get to the screen to select
