Microsoft not honoring controller warranty

Same thing here 3rd time sending in my xbox 1 X and cannot get issue resolved!

You've shipped your console to them three times? You're getting the same one back?

Is it possible that when they test it at their location it works without issue? If so, could it be something else - power supply, location of the console, etc.?

Sent controller in for replacement.

Microsoft keeps sending me broken controllers.

Latest controller is broken.

Microsoft won't replace because it's past the warranty.

Even though I never received a working controller.

Microsoft is not honoring warranty.

Sent broken controllers instead of working ones until warranty expired.

Hope that's short enough, lol. I should have made a summary of the issue in the beginning. My bad. Was frustrated and wanted to detail everything so people know exactly where I'm coming from.

Hello, I would call up to XBOX and speak with a rep in support or warranty. Maybe they will understand with all this Covid stuff and still honor your warranty even though its now over I also hate to hear that you are experiencing these issues with this
new controller.

Bought a xbone controller in april, in a month it had drift sticks, couldnt get replaced at store because warranty was only 1 month, then i contacted support, Allen M told me i had 1 year warranty so i waited in september because i didnt want to
be with no controller for summer, as today i contacted support and now they dont want to do a replacement because its out of warranty, Allen M lied up about the warranty and now microsoft support dont want to honor the replacement and i am blamed for this.

What support told me after i posted the reference number with Allen M: Thank you for waiting! I found it. It seems he thought the warranty is one year for controllers but I am afraid he must have made a mistake. The controller you have a standard one which

How did you contact support, was it on these forums, Twitter, or receive a call back?

And who is this Allen M, an official staff member or an ambassador?

If this person told you the warranty for an accessory was 1 year, then in my opinion, they were misinformed, like the support person already said.

According to product warranty support page for the Xbox One, accessories have a 90 day warranty.

"g) "Warranty Period" for Xbox One, means 1 year from the date You purchased it; and for Accessories, means 90 days from the date You purchased it."

Unfortunately mistakes happen, and I honestly don't think much will happen at this point because it's out of warranty.
