I'm definitely sorry to hear you had a bad experience with phone support, but I'm glad you're here now! I betcha we can sort this.

Could you explain in a little more detail what exactly happens when you try to download/play the games? Helpful info for us would include

• How far the downloads get
• Any error codes you see
• If you get different errors per game, please let us know those too
• What region your account is set to, and what region you are actually in physically right now
  

Fingers crossed, we can actually get this resolved for you without any more runaround.

So dumb though, if Microsoft and other companies want to get everyone on board with fully digital gaming then give us an incentive to go digital rather than buying the disc. Charging the full price for something that I could lose if my account or console
gets stolen rather than having the physical content in hand.

I think the digital version should be cheaper, but when you look at it just now, the GoD version of Army Of Two The Devils Cartel is £49.99

Look on line, at certain game shops and it's £19,99 for the disc, which you can sell on or trade once played, it's an easy choice for me, perhaps it will be different on the Xbox One.

Unless Digital games offer some benefits in exchange for the loss of ability to resell or lend then I don't see many people going digital. Certainly not at full rrp of £40. Imagine buying a digital game and you hate it.

Allow me to kill your hope by beating it with the shovel.

Someone posted that microsoft takes 30% of the game sale while retailers 10% so in the end it seems like shiping expenses for retail are still being payed to microsoft. And since retailers are the ones who sell MS console then MS wont try to alienate them.

Look at the antire RM fiasco. Before it was abolished reports say gamestop had only like 10 preorders in the shop for x1, now they taking preorders again.

X1 digital gaming is a monopoly. And just like with any monopoly neather MS nor publishers would have a reason to lower the prices. So you should really expect price drops for new games any time soon.
