Microsoft needs to keep it from freezing up

hi bit of a late reply but still may help, if its a game thats in preview still, it may still act up even if its nearing its release, that should be worked on by patches hopefully but some games are more likely to crash on a standard xbox one unlike on an
X like pubg, and sometimes it works to snap menu quit a game (ill link you a video on how to) and then restart it to minimise crash risk. If its none of these then a hard reset may help which is where you hold down the xbox button on your console for 10 seconds
and then restart it, and if that doesnt help uninstall and reinstall the game from fresh.

The steps for that process are as follows:

1. Open the settings app.
   
2. Navigate to System/apps.
   
3. In the system sub-menu, navigate to Apps and Features
   
4. Search for the app in question.
   
5. After selecting the app, select advanced options.
   
6. Tap reset.
7. You may now re-open the app once more

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try removing all storage from the console and then restart it? If it boots up fine and doesn't freeze up then put in one storage device and repeat. Keep doing this until the console freezes up again. If it does then the
storage device is what's causing the issue and would need to be replaced.
