Microsoft needs to fix the Snap feature on Xbox one

I have had an XBOX one ever since the console launched despite the terrible job they were doing when promoting their console I stood by their product believing they would one day right their ship. Since Phil spencer took the helm the XBOX has patched it's
tattered image. It has started selling the Xbox without the Kinect as a required piece of hardware, improved its resolution capabilities and changed its stance on the DRM issues that caused it so much grief. While all of these improvements are a great change
to the Xbox consoles brand I believe their negligence in improvements to their SNAP feature is a devastating failure and one that may tarnish my love of the console.

As I have grown to love the changes to the user interface and the release of the Elite controller with programmable button arrangements I have gotten more frustrated with the lack of improvements to Snap-Ing my apps to the right of my television. I use to
be able to watch Netflix while I played a game. I use to be able to have function of some king with being able to close snap with two button pushes. I miss these features. Taking away a feature that had kept me on the Xbox band wagon is a serious step in the
wrong direction. I would love to see this feature improved upon by re integrating all apps to work in a snapped form and at the same time improve the functuonality when things are snapped. I would love to Ben able to quickly switch between my gameplay and
then start a different show on Netflix or Ben able to switch between subscribed YouTube channels in the vast open space left open at the bottom of the snap window. Why hasn't no one brought this up?

Many people may not use the snap feature but for me it was the main reason I purchased an XBOX at launch over a PS4. I currently own both but with the Snap feature loosing its support on Xbox as well as voice functionality which was reason two for my original
console purchase I find myself moving away from it and over to my PS4 that may not have the feature but as far as I have noticed they are only adding improvements to their console and not removing, or abandoning their features. If XBOX can find its way back
to delivering what they originally promoted with an increase in everything else I will remain true to promoting their brand. However if they don't they may loose more than my passion for their service.

New Update Is Trash

The new update to the homescreen/UI for the Xbox One and One S are great and all but the "snap an app" feature no longer works.... please fix microsoft.

 

TV Viewing In A Window

I may be the only one who wants this,but why can't Microsoft bring back the snap feature for xbox one x? Or something similar?
