Microsoft need to take drastic measures

I for one love my xbox one but after the latest selling reports in Europe and USA Microsoft simply con not let this trend continue. If this carries on for the next few months people will be buying the ps4 not because it's better but because of how much in
the lead it is ( like the Wii U people will say I'm not buying it as no one is) Titan fall will help a little bit it is like putting a little plaster on a massive wound. Microsoft need to drop price by £100 not a measly £30. Btw I have had both systems since
launch and have only played the ps4 twice. I am not selling the ps4 as I feel of Microsoft are not careful they will place them self to far behind and out of the race. I hope they do something as I love my xbox one

sounds like a e-thug to me...personally i would just block him like those whose mentioned it above me...he can't do anything like tiger said just a "wittle guy blowing smoke" no need to take drastic measures of spending 10 dollars for a new gamer tag or
waiting forever for Microsoft to do something...

 

lag comp and camping make a return?

Short of having your score go down if you stay in one spot for so long or some other drastic measure, camping will always be in this game.

 

€100.00 price drop would help greatly especially in this economy. That's all that they need to do.

Drastic measures why? They are doing very well considering the smaller launch market.

 

You say unless your Nintendo. The Wii U had sold more units in Europe this week than the xbox one

 

They need to double down on 1 party games and cloud.

 

The launch market they launched in were the markets xbox did well in the other markets are not known for selling xbox well

 

I think considering the price difference between XB1 and it's main rival, the terrible PR from Microsoft before launch, DRM, then the turnaround etc XB1 isn't doing too bad at all.

I mean in the same time period it's already outsold the Xbox 360.

I remember sites like Neogaf saying on release XB1 main rival would outsell it, 4-1, 5-1, sure it's rival is ahead but nowhere near what some were predicting/hoping even.

Now though they have dropped the price, offering a choice of game for new customers, one game is going to be one of/if not the biggest titles of 2014, I really don't see any drastic measures needed.

I loved the PS3 and I'm sure a few here like me remember it's shaky start, high price etc, took them a while but they turned it around and with the resources/pockets Microsoft have I have no doubt it will be the same here.

 

Its Microsoft. Wait until E3 and also for LE consoles from major developers. It's a marathon and we all know that these major companies always think ahead. The console was rushed IMO but its infrastructure has been in place for years. From the cloud to digitally
based down loadable games has been in the plans for over 5 years. MS is no fool when it comes to saturating the market with its brand. Give it a solid year to two years before worries about the console not selling begin to be a major problem. I believe a price
drop is imminent as well as major LE consoles releasing.

 

At the end of the day I hope you are right and they do not leave it to late cus like I tell everyone I love my xbox one

 

They dont need to do anything.look at there sales they are doing very well.
