Microsoft need renew Xbox elite controller

Hi I have two Xbox elite 2 controller This controller is of relatively lower quality than regular models. After long-term use, it sometimes breaks down in strange ways, the handle becomes brittle, and for this reason I had to pay more. I hope Microsoft can fix the problem in newer models.

It is not possible to purchase bumpers for the elite controller directly from Microsoft, If the bumpers of your elite controller require replacing the controller would need to be sent to
Microsoft repair centre for this.

This is a widespread issue for everyone using the Xbox Accessories App. You can update the Elite controller if you have a physical Xbox console, but the current Xbox Accessories App does not have an option to update an Elite controller. Other Xbox hardware, such as non-elite Xbox controllers or the Xbox Wireless headset do have update UI that works, but the Elite does not show that as an option, possibly because the UI button was replaced with "Rename".

Refreshing, reinstalling, updating the App or Windows will not fix this issue. Microsoft needs to update the Xbox Accessories App with a fix. That's the only way to solve this issue that Microsoft created.

i know this is his question but he said elite controller to a adapter not a regular xbox one controller on the link it says how to connect adapter from pc to xbox one controller he needs a elite controller adapter because all he is finding is regular xbox
one adapters to pc which he stated do not work for his elite controller
