Bluepoint Games Nailed It!

I didn’t know what to expect with this version of Titanfall. We’ve all been kept in the dark when it came to this game on the 360. We never even got a screenshot of the game on 360. So I put the game in last night expecting the worst. Was it going
to be so bad that the game would be unplayable?

It was quite the opposite.

I’ve played Titanfall on the Xbox One and have seen game play on the PC and Titanfall on the 360 can hold its own with the big boys. Last-gen hardware and all!

There are noticeable differences in the graphics department and some minor tearing but nothing that changes the game experience. The test for me was when things really got going in battle and you have multiple Titans and Pilots firing guns throwing
explosives and smoke. With all of this going on, I was sure the game would lock up. Right? Not at all. The game ran as smooth as an Xbox One minus some window dressing. Heck they even still had the animals in the Bone Yard map.

So then why so tight lipped on this version of the game? Did someone want to sell more Xbox Ones?

I will have to take EA’s word that the game needed polish and that the delay was not in any way a strategy to sell more Xbox Ones. Because this is exactly the same game on the 360 and the Xbox One.

If you like shooters, this one is a must own. See you on the Frontier.

Couldn't agree more, I was of the opinion that they were tight lipped because they wanted to sell as many Xbox One's as possible before this came out and was perfectly fine on 360. I'm glad I waited and saved the $500. I will get an Xbox One, but not until
something is there that I just can't miss, like Halo 5.

If everything pans out, then they definitely hit a homer at this years E3.

Only time (Cough... Developers... You know, the people who cried. "You uploaded a review of our game and got Google dollars. Those are our Google dollars.") will tell if BC for example. Was a base hit, double, triple, homer or foul ball.

The new Elite controller was definitely a thing of beauty... Until I heard that the price was $150.00 and spots of ugly began creeping in.

All in all though. It was a exceptional E3 this year.

 

I have been watching E3's for well over a decade.

And Microsoft's E3 briefing was one of the best I've seen in a long time.

It is a great time to be an Xbox gamer!

Xbox won E3. Period.

 

It was a good show all around. Sony has some awesome announcements as well.

 

Like What?:

Uncharted 4 crashing for what seemed like an eternity?

Shadow of Something No One has ever cared about?

Shenmue Kickstarter?

3rd party games that are being released on both consoles?

Yawn.

Sony's E3 was mediocre at best.

 

Don't worry about it Bird.... That Serious Sony Chip on your shoulder will one day grow back into the potato it once was. Then you can plant it, and have even more chips..... sheeeesh..

Then all your worries will be gone. Even with your Sony Digs in your signatures. How about as a serious forum member you show some maturity, and be happy for all gamers

Other than that, it is a great time to be a console gamer in general, For those of us that own both, It is even better, the best of all worlds.

It seems to me, to be the best E3 for some time.

 

Horizon: Zero Dawn looked absolutely incredible. The Last Guardian is going to be amazing. No Mans Sky has a ton of promise.

There were a lot of strong games. Your views are kind of fanboyistic , but both had a great E3 in my opinion. I love all game companies. I love games period, so why wouldn't I like Sony too? There are a ton of games coming out for those not too stubborn
to look both ways. I'll be rocking on these systems with these games while fanboys on both sides hide their jealousy by bashing one another.

Avid gamers win, fanboys (no one in particular) lose.

 

both had great shows, i think MS show was better because there were more games that i'm interested in and they delivered on their promise, i have no interest in The Last Guardian, looked boring to me, but i at least understand the hype people have for that
game, i'm less interested in No Man's Sky after seeing the game play, not sure what i was expecting, but did not looking interesting, looking forward to FF7 and Uncharted, yes it crashed, but it's still in development.

and didn't Sony already say they were holding back for the Paris show?

 

I agree that I thought MS had a better showing, but the other guys impressed me too.

 

It was a great E3 all around, only thing I cared for though was Gears none of the other games interest me, so for me Microsoft's E3 was a bit lack luster.

 

MS did do a great job with this conference and was easily the best conference for me.

Yeah, it would be nice if that fanboy attitude was gone. It was not near as bad as it is now though. Wading through nothing but crap on a lot of forums due to "graphics" and sales. Sony has a larger fanboy base (not talking fans) and that base is unleashed
and apparently unhinged. MS can never "win" and the MS fanboys need to understand that.

Of course I have said this before, even during last E3, right on these forums. It is the gamer that wins. And I am one of those gamers. Another huge win for myself and others like me.

 

The MS vs Sony bitterness speaks to maturity level, so I just blow it off. There's great games for both sides and combined, so why not just enjoy this era in gaming and stop wasting energy on such an infinitely silly and pointless debate.
