  1. Microsoft Monitor for Xbox Scorpio

Xbox Division from Microsoft should announce a Monitor for playing Xbox Project Scorpio for no more than 500 USD. It should have 4k resolution, compatible with HDMI 2.1, HDR with Wide Color Gamut, AMD FreeSync, 120hz, and analogic audio output for headphones
or any other audio device. That would be perfect for consumers get everything that Project Scorpio provides us and for a affordable cost.

I hope we can discuss this idea. I've seen Monitors like that for a hundred dollars, what is totally out of mind for common customers. I'm brazillian, and a also hope, if released, it could get hereç

    :)

  2. 4K TV or 4K Monitor?

Its getting around that time where i need to start thinking about whether getting a monitor or tv in 4k for the scorpio. So i was wondering will it be worth it to pick up a 27-32 inch 4k monitor instead of a tv? The smallest 4k TV's are made is 40 inches
and id rather have at max a 32 inch screen. The TV's can be pricey but i figure for the same price for a 40 inch cheap brand 4k tv i could pick up a very good brand 28 inch 4k monitor instead. My main question is, would the scorpio work with a 4k monitor?
    Assuming the monitor has HDR?

Or you could just buy a monitor.

Why does Microsoft have to make one?

Just do some research. There are plenty of 4K monitors out there. I'll bet they'll even ship it to Brazil.

  5. If 60" might be a good price, if 24" for PC maybe not....if even 24" is relevant for 4K-video.

    4K TV or 4K Monitor?

Hi Kristall, I think scorpio work with a 4k monitor, But In the event that purchasing a 4k monitor for Scorpio, ensure you get FreeSync over HDMI and NOT over Display Port to exploit it.

But some gamers prefer 4k tv to play games rather than 4k monitors like the one I have LG OLED55C7P. I like it because it has good picture quality and many other smart features in it. This is also evident from the many good reviews from this TV, one of which
    is

    Project Scorpio Monitor Discussion

Xbox Scorpio will not beat high end PC gaming specs. The Xbox Scorpio only has a 2.3Ghz clock speed 8 core processor. And this low clock speed will be the bottleneck when it comes to simulation games, since simulation games are more CPU intensive than GPU.
Even my i7-6700k has a stock speed of 4.2Ghz (4 cores, 8 threads, 8MB cache). And clock speeds do matter.

As for monitors, I'm completely fine with my Sony KDL40EX720 Full HDTV. 1080p gaming is still the norm. If you go for 4k, then you're gonna get less frame rate than if you play in 1080p. 1080p still looks pretty good. A lot of games on Xbox 1 aren't even
1080p native. You don't have to waste your money on the latest most flashiest monitor on the market. When the Full HDTV or full HD monitor you already use, will do the job well enough. I'm sure Xbox Scorpio will have anti-aliasing too (a mechanic which works
to reduce common jagged corners and lines in Graphics). Samsung and Sony are good brands. They may not be the cheapest, but there's a good reason why they're not the cheapest. They may tend to have a lower fail-rate compared with other brands. And may have
better global customer support than other brands too. Take for instance Samsung and Sony. They are not New Zealand or Australian companies, but they have good support coverage over here. You cant say the same for some other American companies.
