    Hey, so I completely forgot that you can't buy Gold membership through Microsoft money. I recently redeemed a card($15CAD). Is there any way Microsoft can takeaway credit from me and give me a 1 month membership?

    No that's not possible. The MS currency is used to purchase dlc media like games or movies but you will need a valid method of payment, such as a credit card, linked to your account to purchase xbox live membership. Otherwise you can purchase prepaid gold
    membership from third party retailers.

    Sorry, but that money can only be used to purchase games or other content from the Xbox Live marketplace, but not gold. Gold can only be purchased via credit cards/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid card from a retailer.
