    So I'm trying to connect my xbox 360 to the internet. I'm not interested in playing games online, I just want the silver membership.

    Whenever I try to connect to the internet I get an error message pop up, telling my account is suspended until I renew my xbox live membership.

    I don't want to renew my gold, I just want the internet. I have been unfairly suspended because this company just wants more money out of their customers

    What makes this all even better is that my account subscription page even shows me that my subscription shouldn't run out until 02/16/2018, which it most definitely is not.

    All I want to do is use one **** DLC that I bought

    There's nothing anyone on the forums can do as we do not have access to your account/billing info.

    You would need to contact support
    here     as they are the only ones with access to all of that info & should be able to tell you whats going on.

    You cannot turn off auto-renewal by email. Those emails don't ask you if you want to turn it off, they're just to inform you that you're going to be charged. The only way to turn off auto-renewal is to call customer support.

    billing questions are best handled by phone support. I know you would prefer to give a kidney than deal with phone support but they are best equipped to handle your situation quickly.
