    Microsoft me estafó (Microsoft me conned)


    Hace más de un año que tengo una Xbox, compré juegos y suscripciones a Xbox Live. Ahora no me deja compara más nada on-line. No saben decirme por qué pero la solución que proponen es que compre tarjetas de regalo físicas. Yo quiero comprar on-line como me
    prometieron que se podría hacer (e incluso hice durante más de un año).

    La alternativa que me ofrecen es crear una cuenta nueva que no tenga este problema, pero pierdo todos los juegos que compré hasta ahora.

    Me siento estafado por Microsoft que me promete servicios que luego no me da. Y que la solución a un problema de ellos que no saben cómo solucionar es que yo pierda todo el dinero invertido en los juegos que ya compré.

    ¿a alguien se le ocurre una forma de hacer que Microsoft investigue el problema en mi cuenta o por lo menos me ayude a no perder mis juegos ya adquiridos?

    Over a year ago I have an Xbox, I bought games and subscriptions to Xbox Live. Now it doesn't let me compare anything else on-line. They can't tell me why, but the solution they propose is to buy physical gift cards. I want to buy on-line as I was promised
    that it could be done (and even I did for over a year).

    The alternative they offer me is to create a new account that does not have this problem, but I lose all the games I bought so far.

    I feel ripped off by Microsoft who promises me services that I then don't give. And that the solution to a problem of them who do not know how to solve is that I lose all the money invested in the games I already bought.

    Does anyone think of a way to get Microsoft to investigate the problem in my account or at least help me not to lose my games already purchased?

    If for any reason you opened the console, or anyone else did, does void the warranty. There are all kinds of stickers on the thing so that they know what is going on. It is like that with most eletronics anymore. You might want to review the email that you
    got, if you were emailed the shipping labels. I know when I sent mine in, in my email it said that if I had tampered with the console my warranty would be void. But, I have heard of people who can fix the consoles, and if the warranty is already void are you
    putting that much at risk? I would make sure to back up any saves and profile/gamertag first though.

    its useless to post this on a forum,i live the same thing for over one year on top of being bullied by a legion of trolls,so much that even moderators join the bullies.i highly recommend you to contact directly the support via a safe computer,maybe you have
    a friend who can help you with his computer.furums are not safes because the one who did that to you is maybe not alone and might see your post here.

    Hi Erick, following screenshot is the response I get when I try to purchase anything (from console or pc).

    I already made 4 calls to xbox support and they say there's nothing they can do to help.

    If you have any advice about how to address this issue I'll appreciate it.

    I know it's probably not what you want to hear, but at That's exactly what the error message is asking of you.

    Again just go ahead and follow the following

    link so that you can attempt to get assistance by phone or through Chat.

    I hope you can get this resolved!

    After 4 calls they say I should talk to the bank and ask them what's happening (¿?), but I already tried 3 different banks, credit cards, debit cards, international cards. Nothing works, is it clear that the issue is not on the bank side but the xBox account.
    Sadly, support said they can't help me, that's why I'm here end that's why I feel cheated.

    Hey there Xbox_3148

    I can understand the frustration you must be going through.

    Now if you have not been able to get this issue resolved with Customer support, Let's try something different. How is it that you are trying to complete this purchase? Are you going through a PC, Mobile Device, or your Xbox one Console? Also If through a
    Mobile device or a PC you can always attempt to purchase using a different web browser.

    Again if none of these steps are working then I would again advice that you continue to contact Xbox Support
    so that you can have them go through this with you. I understand it has not been the best experience but as the error code is stating, You simply need to get a hold of them to help you resolve this issue.

    Tried with different browser (FF this time) didn't work, from xbox console neither. I was chatting with support and after wrestling a little bit Microsoft me estafó (Microsoft me conned) :), instead of make me wait for another 24hs, the guy said he will send the case to a "special team".

    What we found recently is that system reject purchases bcs my account and cards are from different regions, but all we could verify indicates my account is in Argentina, same as the cards.

    It seems that somewhere in my account settings the region is not Argentina but we can't find where or how to change it.

    More updates when special support team make contact. Stay tuned!
