    Microsoft, make better mics


    I've had my Xbox one for about a year and a half and my mic has been fine, I haven't been damaging it, until about two months ago it just croaked. I can hear people fine but can't talk and I'm hearing this happens with all basic
    Xbox one Mic's after about 6-12 months. Is there any solution besides buying a new one (and my warranty ran out)

    Mic sensitivity

    Hi dead killer4455,

    Is that not just down to the nature of the microphone and designed like that by the manufacturer? Just out of curiosity, what headset/mic do you have?

    Maybe it is the sign of a better quality or worse quality mic.

    As for your suggestion about mic sensitivity, If it makes gaming on Xbox better the it is worth mentioning it on the Xbox Insiders Reddit page. This is where you go to
    make suggestions, put forward ideas and report bugs to help improve the Xbox experience.

    Mic won't work

    I have the same problem. I have tried 3 controllers and 2 different mics (default and Turtle Beach plugged into newer Microsoft headset adapter) with no better results. It will work at times making me think I fixed it but then when I really need it I get
    problems.

    not microphone, it is the app, after the December update began this problem. support and microsoft do not recognize this problem.
