Microsoft Mahjong WP8 Glitch

Not sure if this is a known issue or not. The free to play Microsoft Mahjong for the Windows 8 Phone has a glitch with the medal "Can't Win". Apparently it can be attained on a Windows 8 device or computer; but not the phone. This makes the achievement
(Matchmaking Legend) for completing all 20 medals unattainable for Windows Phone users. A fix to the glitch would be appreciated.

That stinks. I forget which of those games, but one of them popped for me randomly well afterwards when I booted the game up on another occasion. Sometimes phone games had to be deleted and then re-installed and it fixed that type of issue after playing
a round or so.

I have a correction to the above: The achievement in cause is the one that requires me to earn 10 medals, not 20. I guess I already had more than 10 when I started the game on the phone.

Do you have any other Windows Phone 8 devices you might could replicate this problem on? If this is a glitch with the application itself, please be sure to write a review on windowsphone.com so that the app publisher can see that this is a problem. In the
meantime, here are some basic steps you can try. First, uninstall the app and then clear the browser history from your phone by opening IE and go to "..." > Settings > Delete history. From there, restart your phone and reinstall the app.

I do not have another device no; this glitch is recognized by more than 1 gaming site; xboxachievements.com and trueachievements.com for starters. I will check out windowsphone.com

 

The glitch is noted by a few on the windowsphone.com as well.. can only wait I guess

 

You may be correct in thinking that it is a glitch then. Microsoft may have plans to update the glitch in the future if other users are experiencing this issue as well. I hope that gets done soon! Sorry about the inconvenience D:

Xenolith666, I have an idea! You might be able to leave developer feedback about this app at windowsphone.uservoice.com, I will leave my feedback here as well. The other suggestion I have would be to contact Xbox Live support and let them know you are having
an issue with Xbox Live achievements on a mobile game. Normally I'd say you'd want to contact WP support, but the game itself appears to work correctly, right? If it's only the XBL achievements I'd say start there. They may be able to get it up to their escalations
team.

 

I'm having problems with the achievement for getting 20 medals. I have 25 medals now and still no achievement. Appearantly i unlocked the 20th medal on my win8 version instead of my Phone. I know a lot of other players are experiencing the same problem.
Is there a fix underway any time soon?
