Microsoft Mahjong stopped working last week and reinstalling doesn't work either

I noticed that you are unable to start the game Microsoft Mahjong.

I would like to try my best to provide you with some suggestions.



You mentioned that you have tried many troubleshooting options, could you share with me the steps you have tried? This will help us analyze the problem.



One common way is to start it in administrator mode or compatibility mode.

First you can try to right-click on the game shortcut icon on your desktop to find the path to the game running program that corresponds to the shortcut.

Right click the .exe game file, click properties:







In the meantime, I would recommend that you bring this issue to the attention of MSN Support, who are the team that deals with such issues:

WP7 achievements not syncing either. Has been working fine the last few weeks, but over the weekend it stopped working for me.

There was an update last week that included some more achievements, among other things. If you go to the

Microsoft Mahjong page in the Windows Store, are you able to redownload the game there? This might work better than if you are going to your purchase history in the Store. Let us know if that works out for you!

I've been having this problem since the last dashboard update, the DVR doesn't work for any games, last week i thought it was fixed because i recorded a clip of TitanFall but again it has stopped working, has microsoft addresed this issue or even acknowledged
it yet?

Sounds like the black screen bug that was introduced by the update last week. Cables don't just stop working, it usually is the device at either end that is at fault.
