Hello WeavingZero34,

It sounds as if something has become corrupted in your version of Mahjong. The easiest way to fix any corruption is to uninstall the game and then choose "Restart" from the shutdown menu to restart your computer. Once you're back up, press the Windows
Key+R, and type wsreset.exe in the dialog box and hit OK. Once this has run, reinstall the game from the Windows Store app.

Please let me know if this doesn't get you back into the game,

Purchased a premium for ad-free play of microsoft mahjong but still seeing ads

Is this like a publicitybanner?, the Microsoft Mahjong premium will remove any publicity banners from the game.

The issues with this game appear to be getting worse. For the last two days (today and yesterday) there is one game of the Daily Challenge games that wont allow me to play. Each time I try to play I am thrown out of the game, out of Mahjong and back to the
desktop. Any ideas?

I've done more research on this issue and this is actually due to the Surface update on January 14th. It's affecting not only this game but all games/apps that use touch controls (including popular apps such as Google Chrome). I'm going to keep on top of
this issue and see if we can reach out to the Surface team. From the Surface forums, it appears this is a known issue on this update and hopefully they'll get a fix out soon.

The touch pointer works everywhere, including for the first few tiles I move, then it just stops and I have to revert to using the keyboard to complete the game. Not helpful to have to use the keyboard on a timed challenge.
