    Microsoft Mahjong for iOS - Internet Connection Error


    On my iPhone, when playing Mahjong, when I go to Daily Challenges, I get an error that tells me I need an internet connection. I have tried on different WiFi networks, including cellular-only networks, to no avail.

    I have confirmed connectivity to XBox Live, and everything is working fine. Microsoft Wordament is working just fine. Microsoft Solitaire is working fine, except for Today's Event (Daily Challenges are working). I have also tried rebooting the phone and have deleted and reinstalled the software. Doing the last one resulted in me losing all of my progress, and the game still had the exact same error.

    Have you ever received a response to this question? I am having the same problem. My problem is with Microsoft Mahjong and Microsoft Solitaire. Worked find for over a couple a weeks and then started giving me this error today. Microsoft Minesweeper is
    currently still working. My internet connection is fine.

    Can't Sign In to Sudoku

    Looking through this forum there are 3, now 4 people suffering the some problems with Microsoft Sudoku. I have not been apply to sign in for the last 30 hours.

    The message is 'unable to connect to Xbox server check your internet connection'.

    I am able to connect to the Internet, Solitaire Collection and Mahjong.

    There must be a problem at Microsoft Cloud.

    Can't load the Daily Challenge Solitaire games

    There are a lot of people having problems with the daily challenges and it is affecting all platforms Win 10, 11, Android and iOs

    The error message

    'Download error

    An error occurred while trying to download data from our servers.

    Please check your internet connection and try again.'

    is of no help and the Microsoft casual games site is not much help either.

    what is error code 404019

    There is an App for Microsoft Mahjong on my laptop, running Windows 8. Every time I open the app is get this message:

    There was a problem downloading game data for Microsoft Mahjong. Please check the Microsoft Mahjong FAQ at and refer to error code 404019.
    The game still seems to be playing fine..

    Not able to connect to internet

    Microsoft solitaire. The event contest feature does not load and instead after running idle for a minute displays the message "internet connection required". This is the same on my windows 10 App and IOS App. Notably, my internet connection(s) work just
    fine, hence it is clearly a snafu of the game.
