    Microsoft Mahjong Challenge "Lightning Tiles" graphics driver problem


    I have Microsoft Mahjong installed on my Surface Pro 3, and have been playing the daily challenges with no problem until about a week ago, when a Windows update was installed. Since then, every time I try to play the Lightning Tiles challenge game, after
    a few moves, I am disconnected from the game and I get an error message that stays on the screen for just a few seconds. It says Display driver has stopped working and has recovered. It seems to be an HD graphics driver Intel 8(R) driver, but it doesn't stay
    on long enough for me to commit it to memory. I have uninstalled an reinstalled the game multiple times, I have checked for updates multiple times, and I have restarted my computer multiple times. A Surface Pro tech worked on it for over an hour today, and
    uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, but still it malfunctions.

    Lightning tiles

    I love the lightning tiles game in Microsoft Mahjong. Can you make it a standalone game (without the daily challenges)?

    If it was a standalone game it would have the option to choose how many lightning tile pairs and how many moves they have (2-6 lightning tiles can be used)

    also what is the color of the 6th lightning tile? (i know red, green, blue, purple, and gold)

    Mahjong Daily Challenge--Lightning Tiles

    3. Problem started about 2 days ago.

    While playing Daily Challenge Lightning Tiles the game stops and destructs the last pair or 2 pair of lightning tiles when I am trying to clear the remaining tiles and there are no obstructions to completing the challenge. The game responds as if there
    are no other moves left even though I clearly have matches left.

    I've been playing Microsoft Mahjong daily challenge for a couple a years now.

    It's fun playing this game.

    Sometimes is easy, sometimes it's difficult, but it was always solvable until yesterday.

    Yesterday's lightning tiles challenge (August 16, 2021) is unsolvable.

    It's obvious that I'm not the only one who came to this unfortunate conclusion.

    Because there are of lot of other people who came to the same conclusion.

    Daily challenges should be solvable. It doesn't matter if it's difficult, but they should be solvable. That's the definition of a puzzle, it's solvable.

    Please Microsoft, do us players a favor and make this unsolvable lightning tile challenge solvable.

    looks like the problem is selective of the challenge type.
