Microsoft Looking to Recruit More for XBOX Games Studios

Better to buy a dev studio at a lower price but with more strong IPs.....

Mojang makes money but only got one major IP.

Also,Microsoft and Xbox doesn't really needs more dev studios or IPs.

When i look at what they got it's already impressive.....and i'm please with that.

Hi Its not a developer issue any more as it is xbox 360 arcade game where the continuity is controlled by Microsoft Games studio.

But have you taken the time to look at the profiles of these studios with untitled projects? I posted it earlier with links but according to Kami, I'm a liar. I will use Platform Next as an example. There was also two studios that I saw that were actually
the same studio but names changed.

Microsoft is staffing up for two new studios within Microsoft Studios: LEAP and Platform Next. The job listing for Platform Next sufficiently explains the purpose of that studio: "pioneering experiences on Kinect." We assume that means innovative uses of
the tech, not The Oregon Trail.

LEAP, however, is more nebulous: it's an "incubation team," identified as "the people that developed Kinect and profoundly changed the way people interact with technology." It sounds like some kind of think tank for games -- but one that is making a game
right now, as it needs a level designer.

Naughty Dog is a Sony owned first-party studio. They are definitely one of the best studios today in my opinion with games like Uncharted and their recent release, The Last of Us (which has over 200+ GOTY and counting). They are a unique studio who prides
themselves in making great games, with amazing graphics. TLOU is probably one of the best looking, if not THE best looking game of last generation.

MS has said they are definitely pushing for more new IPs and new first-party studios this generation so I hope they keep their word. Acquiring/opening new studios would be a start because compared to Sony, Microsoft's first-party studio line-up is a little
thin. I believe Remedy Entertainment might be Microsoft's Naughty Dog. Alan Wake was an underrated game and one of my personal favorites last generation and their new title, Quantum Break, should not disappoint. I doubt Remedy would ever want to be acquired
but in the event that they do, Microsoft would have bagged a great studio.
