Microsoft locked my account because I logged into it.

Im trying to acces my microsoft account but its locked, because i changed my gmail and microsoft locked it (microsoft account)

It says it has been locked out for breaking microsoft terms and conditions. But I dont recall doing anything because I made the account, downloaded some games, and then logged off my pc. I havent used it and came back to it with this.

I dont know if this huge thing is a new cash grab

But i also arent allowed to switch accounts on the app. I am locked to one account. I also cannot download the app because microsoft will not let me log into an account on the microsoft store. Would be helpfully for a fix

ofc i have to use one of my guest accounts to post this because you cant even let a locked account to log in on your website. absolutely livid.

I believe Mojang was contacted through Minecraft.net which we were informed that this was not their problem since everything has been migrated over to Microsoft. The issue is that we cannot log into (name of family member's) Microsoft account through the Microsoft webpage log in or Minecraft client due to the account being locked due to who knows what.

Every time I buy a PC with Windows I need to create a new Microsoft account because as soon as the account is created I am immediately locked out of it. So I know this issue is a very common one that should have an answer but I cannot find it.

We just need stable access to this account so that (family member) can continue to enjoy this service.
