Microsoft listed me as being in US now I can not use Local Xbox store

you can change regions once per every three months, support cannot manually change your region. some sites sell codes and they sell codes for other regions too, it is a risk when buying codes.

okay why is it when i spoke to Microsoft support they didnt bring this up?

I have no idea. But the store agent I spoke at the Microsoft store informed me you can use M&K for all games. You can contact your local Microsoft store and ask them. Also, when you called Xbox support did you speak to someone from hardware. For example,
if you spoke to someone from Billing they might not be aware of hardware that could be used.

When I spoke to an agent via live chat on Xbox Support she was from Subscriptions and didnt want to give me false information and advised me to contact the store. After that I contacted my local Microsoft store and was told M&K can be used for all games.

Also, the videos I watched on Youtube where gamers was using the M&K was from 8 to 11 months ago. I went back and check the dates it was posted. Now they would be consider cheating since M&K was supported for all games then. I recommend you checking the
dates of the videos you watched. Now it isn't cheating because again you can use M&K on all games now.

5. after the Command Prompt is closed, the Microsoft Store will launch, which should be reset now
   
   - you need to relog your account to Microsoft Store and in Xbox application

In order to save the customized profiles you create when configuring the controller, you need to be signed into a Microsoft Account with an Xbox Live profile associated with the account. If you signed into Windows on initial boot up using a Microsoft Account,
then the Microsoft Store and apps you download from the Store will automatically be logged into that same Microsoft Account.

If you log in to Windows using a local account but want to login using a Microsoft Account instead, try the following steps:

• Select the Start button, then select Settings > Accounts > Your info(in some versions, it may be under Email & accounts instead).
• Select Sign in with a Microsoft account instead. You'll see this link only if you're using a local account. Note that if you see Sign in with a local account instead, you're already using your Microsoft account.
• Follow the prompts to switch to your Microsoft account.

If you want to continue using a local account to log in to Windows or are not sure if you are logged into the Microsoft Store with a Microsoft Account, you can check manually by launching the Microsoft Store and clicking on the user icon in the top
right corner. From there you should be able to sign in or confirm if a Microsoft Account is signed in.

Ok, so he can sign into the Microsoft store. A local grocery store near us is doing a promotion on gift cards. Can you still put that money on the account to use towards the xbox?
