That out of the way, I have an old Microsoft LifeCam HD 5000 which I think (And hope?) will work here. If so, is there any software I'll have to download in order for it to work or will the Xbox do that automagically ??

My goal is to use my cam AND mic when I stream on Twitch & YouTube Gaming (Ideally using the installed apps of course )

Hey, first of all I would like to mention that it would be better if you posted this in English so people understand what you're saying.

I went ahead and translated your text. From what I understand you bought a product in a store and are asking about the warranty.

If you bought this in a retailer I suggest you go back to the store and ask them about it. Since they are selling the product they will know best what to do

 

Why would someone need a lifecam on xbox? it has the kinect that comes with the xbox unless you have an xbox without the kinect?

 

I don't have a Kinect. Just the Xbox & controller

 

Okay but they do have the xbox with kinect.

 

Got mine refurbished from Amazon though

 

Wont work, you can only use Kinect for video capture nothing else.

Besides those old Lifecams are not so great by todays standards and even if you could make it work I doubt you'd be impressed,, Kinect is better quality, get a refurnished one for 60 bucks on amazon.

Or invest in a dedicated capture system separate from the console, but that's a lot more money.
