Microsoft keeps saying that I don't own Minecraft after migration of mojang account

Excuse me??????????? So I have lost my game because of that??? I'm not gonna buy the game again I WANT MY GAME BACK. This is not ok Microsoft.

Same thing for me. Since I merged, I have lost my Windows edition that was given to players who owned Minecraft before October 2018….I only have my Java Edition. After contacting support, I was told it’s because Microsoft doesn’t allow you to play a game you haven’t purchased on their store….I find it quite frustrating. I’ve owned Minecraft for a very long time, I shouldn’t have to repurchase the game just because Microsoft owns it now!

That's a bug that is still happening to a lot of users, indeed. :/

Same issues here... had the java version and the windows version. Played java exclusively. Been dealing wit MS "help" for the last several days. I get a text asking me if i'm logging in with the right ms account (i only have 1). then they go through a couple of questions (very similar to "is your pc turned on...). a little later or next day i get a new "expert" who goes through the same exact routine. they all end with "what is your transaction id?" they say go search your email for a reciept from mojang. i tell them i bought the game in 2009 and my email provider has change 8-10 times since then... they tell me that they cant help me without trans id because that's what proves i own the game. i have 2 emails from mojang telling me the migration was successful. they also gave me the migration cape (i wear it when playing the demo.... this has been one of the most frustrating experiences of my life! and im 68 year old!!! i am not giving up on this and i will let all of you know here if i get a resolution. please do the same if your luck changes. ms sux!
