    Microsoft keeps asking me to change my password


    When I try to play a game on the Xbox app for PC, very frequently it asks me to log-in to my account again (I have no idea why it randomly logs me out) and when I try to log back in, it sometimes asks me to change my password. There have been days where I had to change my password multiple times and quite frankly, I am sick of it. Not only having to change my password constantly is an annoyance, I keep forgetting my password because it does not let me use my old passwords and I keep having to come up with new passwords. Please stop asking me to change my damn password, thanks.

    XBox One. Solved by resetting the Box... called support and they gave up.... there are 50 pages on this in google.

    Thanks for reaching out to us! We understand this can be concerning since it keeps asking for a password but will not accept it.

    Now, is the console asking for the Wi-Fi password or the Microsoft account password? If it is asking for the Wi-Fi password, then that would have to be changed online. You would need to sign into the router page on a web browser and change the password there
    if you have not done that yet.

    If it is asking for the
    Microsoft Account password    , then you need to enter the email into the console sign-in area and put forgot password.

    Mine is doing the same thing I don't have the 2 step verification turned on and it should and did before sign in automatically but now I have to type in the Microsoft password everytime
