    Microsoft Jigsaw


    Hi, all Microsoft Jigsaw :).

    Well, over 2 hours of testing, including some very unorthodox attempts at solving this problem, and... As promised, I MAY have a solution for you Microsoft Jigsaw :).

    I will tell you the main things I did, just in case it was a combination of fixes, it worked for me, so I hope you all get the same result.

    Firstly, run SFC (System File Checker) -

    Hold-down Windows key and press X.

    Select "Command Prompt (Admin)".

    In the command prompt window, type the following

    sfc/scannow

    Press Enter.

    This will take a while, but bear with it ;-).

    After this completes, if it finds errors (it did on mine), close the command prompt and restart your PC.

    Uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Jigsaw.

    Open Settings and select "Privacy", choose "Background Apps" at the bottom of the list on the left. This needs to be turned on.

    Run MS Jigsaw, and try to download puzzle packs again,.

    Hopefully, you will see the downloads start almost immediately Microsoft Jigsaw :).

    Little error on my last post, sorry.

    The Background Apps section. The relevant app needs to be turned on in the background, in this case Microsoft Jigsaw. So, after you choose "Background Apps, then find "Microsoft Jigsaw" from the list on the right... Then select "On" ;-).

    Sorry if I confused anyone with that.

    I didn't run the System File Checker, but I did turn on Jigsaw in Background Apps as you described above.

    Then I Uninstalled/Reinstalled...puzzles downloaded with no hesitation.

    Thanks so much for figuring out this problem, props to you Microsoft Jigsaw :)

    Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be lost in puzzle building for a few days Microsoft Jigsaw :D

    Stop Jigsaw

    You only have to activate the Privacy option / background apps

    restart Jigsaw

    (Re-)ask your downloads

    It works

    Had the same problem with missing gold purchased puzzle sets and did what the posts suggested. Turned out that the puzzles with reset back to "zero" and our puzzles sets are still missing. Now when we select to see downloadable sets the app crashes.

    I'm unable to find "Microsoft Jigsaw Cacti" or the "017-000" error code that you're referring too but I will continue to investigate. Is this the game that you're referring too? It is possible that there is a new version of the game:

    New puzzles don't download.

    I found this by accident.

    Close MS Jigsaw

    Go to settings

    Click on privacy

    Click on background apps

    TURN ON Microsoft Jigsaw

    Open MS Jigsaw and try downloading again.

    Now I can downloading.
