Microsoft Jigsaws have worked well for years, I have so many of them downloaded. Now it won't open the download collection or my own...     Microsoft Jigsaw won't open my puzzles and have just paid another year's subscription


    Hi Guys.

    Microsoft Jigsaws have worked well for years, I have so many of them downloaded.

    Now it won't open the download collection or my own collection.

    I have just paid a year's subscription and cannot access these.

    Other Microsoft products, such as Solitaire, are fine.

    Can you help please.

    Hello,

    When I try to open Microsoft Jigsaw I am able to take all the necessary steps but the puzzle wont open because the advertisement won't load.

    How can this be corrected?

    It appears to be by design. Starting a couple of weeks ago, I would have to kill and restart three times before the ad would load. I then paid $1.49 for a month's subscription, and what do you know? It loads just fine. This seems to be Microsoft's way
    of making sure that they get paid for their free software - hard to think of any other explanation.

    Likewise…I just don't want to lose the puzzles that I've purchased, or the gold coins that bought them. With a Premium Subscription paid too…anybody else frustrated that Microsoft hasn't/won't help???

    freezing up

    I just signed in to jigsaw puzzles trying to put together a puzzle. It has froze up on me 3 times just doing the edge pieces, then it kicked me completely out of jigsaw puzzles. A friend is having the same problem. Is Microsoft ever going to repair the problem?

    Ok, since we've gotten no response from this forum, I went looking for a solution to the downloading puzzle problems. It's probably in your privacy settings.

    I found this solution in another support forum.

    1. Close Microsoft Jigsaw. 2. Go to settings. 3. Click on Privacy. 4. Click on Background Apps. 5. Turn on " Let apps run in the background, if it's off. 6. Scroll down to Microsoft Jigsaw and set it to "On"

    Now open Microsoft Jigsaw again and try to down load your puzzles again. If it doesn't work, restart your PC. Mine started working right after the restart. Good Luck.
